This examination will be conducted by the Dept of Police in Karnataka to recruit various posts like PSI, RSI, KSRP PSI, PSI CIVIL, etc. Examination is held in two modes i.e, a. Written exam and b. physical test. Written exam will be held on two papers. Physical Test includes running, long jump, high jump, shot put , height and chest test of the candidate. Minimum eligible height is 168cm for male and 157cm for female. Chest expansion 5cm (male).
Karnataka PSI Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- In order to apply for the Karnataka PSI Exam 2021, the candidate must have a graduation degree from a university recognised by UGC.
- For the in-service candidates, they should have at least 5 years of experience as PC/HC/ASI in any wing of Karnataka State Police.
Age Limit
The age limit for applying for the Karnataka PSI Exam 2021, a general candidate should be minimum 21 years to maximum 30 years. However, there is age relaxation for the reserved (SC, ST, CAT-01, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B) candidates. For them, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum is 32 years.
KSP provides age relaxations for the upper age limit to the Reserved categories. The relaxation is provided as per the guidelines laid down by the Government. The category-wise list of upper age relaxation is given below:
